There are no two alike.

Carved by hand from a single block of black Afyon marble —
extracted from the same highland quarries of western Anatolia
that supplied stone to the hammams and palaces of the Ottoman
empire. But this piece carries none of that grandeur outwardly.
It is small. It is dark. It is almost completely without
surface event — just deep, near-uniform black with the faintest
trace of mineral structure visible only in direct light.

It looks like it was carved from a piece of night.

The Intima Classic is the most elemental form in the collection.
The taper is clean and direct. The neck is tight and precise.
The flared base sits flat and stable. There is nothing
unnecessary here. Nothing decorative. Every curve serves
exactly one purpose.

Natural stone holds cold. It retains temperature — from ice
to warmth — with a consistency no synthetic material can
replicate. The mirror-polish on black marble is unlike
anything else — a depth that draws the eye in rather than
reflecting it back. The weight, for its size, is surprising.
